About bk8io.uk
bk8io.uk is an English-language reference site about the BK8 brand: who operates its BK8.io platform, what it is licensed for, where its name appears in sport, and how to tell the real website from the copies. It is written for readers in Britain, most of whom know the name from a shirt or a livery and nothing more.
What this site is
A small set of carefully sourced pages. Each one answers a question people actually type into a search engine about BK8: who the company is, what "BK8 News" means, whether a site is genuine, and whether the platform can be used from the United Kingdom. Every factual claim is linked to the announcement, regulator page or report it comes from, and each page lists its sources at the bottom.
The site is maintained by the bk8io.uk editorial team. Pages carry a team byline rather than an individual name; the team is responsible for every page collectively, and corrections are handled the same way.
What this site is not
- It is not BK8.io. The official platform is at bk8.io. We have no login, no account area and no cashier.
- It does not take bets or deposits, and it never asks for crypto wallet details, seed phrases or identity documents. If a page claiming to be us asks for any of those, it is a fake.
- It does not collect personal data. There are no forms, newsletters or tracking cookies on this site.
- It does not promote gambling to British readers. BK8.io is not available in the United Kingdom, so we do not publish sign-up guides, bonus figures or promotional offers.
How we check facts
We follow a short, strict rule set, written out in full in our editorial policy:
- Licence and operator details are copied from bk8.io's own footer and confirmed against the regulator's validation page.
- A sponsorship is included only when the club, team or governing body announced it, or when two independent outlets reported it.
- A deal is called "current" only when a dated announcement from the past year covers it and its stated term has not ended.
- Anything we could not confirm is either left out or labelled as unconfirmed, as with the user-count claim on bk8.io's footer.
- We do not name individual players, riders or club staff, even when a source does. The subject is the brand.
Corrections and updates
Each page shows the date it was first published and the date it was last updated. When a fact changes, such as a sponsorship ending or a licence being renewed, we update the page and move the "last updated" date. We do not back-date pages, and we do not quietly delete claims that turned out to be wrong; we correct them in place.
Safer gambling
Everything on this site is for adults aged 18 and over. If gambling is causing you or someone close to you problems, GamCare's free helpline is open on 0808 8020 133, and our responsible gambling page lists further support and blocking tools.
